If the universe is infinate then how do God and the devil get around the whole place to carry out their work? Unless their influence is on Earth only they must surely have help - ergo Angels and Demons must exist.

this is intresting. While I belive in God and heaven I do not belive in Satan demons or hell. I know that their can not be good with out evil. So if God is good we must be the evil. We we cast from paradise to earth and have had many religions since. Not all religions have a hell or devil... Also Christianity did not have a devil until the Dark ages, ironically enough.

Old topic just rehashed to sound new.
If it weren't for Satan, the Church would be out of business.

Demons and angels have to exist cuz thats what the Bible says-pretty simple. And God IS infinite to answer someone's (forget who) question. Actually, we were created as being who did not know what sin was. Adam and Eve had no clue about right and wrong. God said "Dont touch that tree" so they didnt until Satan started saying all these lies about being like God if you eat it. So, Eve took the bait and so did Adam and BINGO, we have evil.

YHVH gave Man the choice of good or evil. He never forced Man into serving Him. Those who believe that it was by force and threat, do not beLIEve in a God of mercy or compassion. By saying that God commanded or ordered that they should not touch the tree do not believe the truth. The truth being that a loving God as depicted in the Bible would NEVER order or command His Creation, which the latter is also portrayed in the Bible in and theology...so thus, it was Man technically who created the concept and personification of evil. Since good and evil are only concepts of religion...another artificial invention...
"I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist!"

OK, maybe I worded this queerly. *runs to get Bible for example verses*
Genesis 2:16,17 (NASB VERSION) "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in that day that you eat from it you shall surely die."
When God created man, he DID create him with a choice, I definetly agree; but man didn't know what good or evil was yet. He just knew that he wasn't supposed to eat from the tree so he didn't. When Satan came around with all his lies and trickery, instead of walking away or at least discussing it with Adam, she foolishly disobeyed God and ate. Tehn, Adam came and ate as well. It was our own fault that there is sin and wickedness in the world, not God's. He IS a God of mercy and compassion which is why he sent the Messiah, Jesus, to die for us so we could be redeemed. Hope this clears up any problems that I made.

The Tree is symbolic of the Truth. The truth that we were created as slaves to a God who commanded us to obey. By "eating" or acknowledging the truth, we opened ourselves. Sin, again like evil, is another fabrication of our own minds. Sin is ordained not by God, but by Man in dogma. If you notice, Genesis is a retranslation of Sumerian texts and mythology. I ask you to look up the subject of Annunaki or Nibiru.

Notice how closely the legend of the Annunaki as described in Sumerian texts closely resembles the story of Genesis.
