Got a Star Wars trivia question for the Q & A section of Insider? Post it here and maybe you'll see your question answered in a future issue.

This is kind of a burning question, and I forget if this was addressed in the Depth Commentary for the ROTS DVD-ROM...

Even though the medical droids reported that nothing was physically wrong with Padme yet she lost the will to live, how exactly did she die? We all know someone can't will themselves to death. Was the Force at work here?

My nephew has been asking me these two questions for sometime now - Who was the first Jedi? Who was the first Sith? Or, do the answers go back too long ago in a galaxy far, far away?

I've got more of a complaint really. I n last issue's Q&A, there was a question about Jango's jetpack. The answer is completely wrong and the question is left unanswered. How did that one slip by quality control?

Hello there ;)

I have a question about the age of the Clones in ROTS:
Well, if I'm not wrong, they "born" at the time of TPM, 32 BBY, and ROTS takes place 19 BBY. So, in ROTS, they are 13 year old, and with the accelerated growing process, 26.

The thing that disturbs me is the fact that clones like Cody seem really older than 26 in ROTS...

So, are they supposed, in the ROTS script, to be 26 year old, or am I wrong in my calculs?

Thanks ;)

With any luck, you'll get answers to some if not all of these questions in issues #96 and#97. Issue #95 is in stores now. And be sure to keep those questions coming.

Which of Jabba's Palace goons survives the explosion of the Sail Barge in the Tatoonie desert since many characters are found in EU material?

I'll try to briefly recap (and identify) the casualties and survivors of the Battle of Carkoon in a future issue. It might also be a good time to tackle some of the more common mistaken identities from that event.

In Revenge of the Sith, I have seen two versions of the scene where Obi-Wan and Padmé greet each other on the veranda at Padmé's apartment. One version has them greeting each other with a platonic kiss. The other version is the one we see in the film - the one without a kiss.

So, my question is, what was the reason(s) behind the decision not to use the scene with the kiss?

just before Anakin walks into the chancellors office to inform Palpatine that obi-wan has found grievous, Palpatine is looking at a red hologram with a spherical object on it. Is this the death star plans that Dooku gave to him?

This has probably been asked before, but, at the end of ESB when the medical droid is putting the finishing touches to Luke's mechanical hand, the inspection hatch with all the circuitry showing, is in his forearm... I thought Vader cut him at the wrist?

Thanks

In "Ask the Master" in Insider #80, Pablo Hidalgo says that in the fight scene between Luke and Vader in the Pomojema temple from Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Vader throws a ball of kinetite, which is a "restrained energy globe" or "pure kinetic energy" at Luke, and this might not even be a force power but merely a weapon built into Vader's suit.
However, in Ryder Windham's new book, The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader, he describes the same scene and claims that the Kaiburr crystal enhanced Vader's dark side power to the point where he was able to throw force lightning at Luke.
So, what did Vader throw at Luke: kinetite or force lightning?

Insider 98 has answers to JoeC 's Palace goons and Leia's age questions and GeneralGrievous16591's Chancellor's office question. Also addressed is a secret message that was hidden in the Star Wars Encyclopedia.
