but remember authors themselves normally have a claus in thei contract that says that they cannot revel anything until been told to so we can see this as a officl or at least semi offical annoucement

My question, more so to Sue, is would there ever be any consideration to doing over the audio on some of the older books that were so drastically cut on cassette?

No, unfortunately there's no talk about this at all.

Is there at least a chance there will be a Round-Robin Interview in any of the Fate of the Jedi books?

No, it's not looking like it. The closest to that is the video interview featuring the authors that was recorded at Comic Con. Nothing in print, though.

So Sue with the annoucement by Paul Kemp that hes doing a new book for you is this the book that is slated for September next year or is this a new book that ou didnt give us any mention of in your blog of a few weeks/months back.

I've updated the calendar on my blog --

The CROSSCURRENT sequel is taking the place of the Boba Fett novel as far as the contract goes. It'll be coming out in June 2011 with the Holostar book being moved to March 2011.

And the July 2010 hardcover is not going to happen... oh well.

Always in motion, etc. etc.....

Is there any plans to do something else instead?

Probably not in that time slot, so the book will go back into the bin of unassigned ones.

I don't suppose you can tell us who the author was who was thinking about doing that one?

(I'm guessing contracts prevent it, but never hurts to ask)

Yes, you're right -- I can't say anything about it.

For those folks who would rather not know something until it's as established as possible, I apologize for listing it in the first place.

I apologize for listing it in the first place.

Personally, I see no need for an apology. I would rather you be excited about a release like the rest of us are and give us as much as you can, when you can. That's one thing that we have come to greatly appreciate about you, Sue. You are very fan-friendly.

If something get's canceled, life will go on.

As one of "those folks," I would like to clarify that you can announce all the hardcovers/paperbacks you like; it's when specific titles, authors, and storylines are nixed after having been announced that I get a little perturbed. :)

Thank You Sue for all little things you can let us know. We treasure every little piece of info we can get. Dissect it and analyze it. But you already know that. Thanks again, Sue :)
