I was just wondering how, or if, the plans for Lost Tribe of the Sith have changed in light of the recent schedule changes.

No, they haven't changed. Actually, today I received the manuscript for the next installment and I believe it'll be available February 9th.

Regarding your questions/suggestions about reissuing various books or series into omnibuses, etc -- these decisions are made by the respective publishers, so your letters, etc., should go to the publishers themselves.

Sue,

First congratulations on the FoJ series, its been a great read so far. Really enjoying the interaction between Luke and Ben.

Also, I will miss Ms. Traviss. She was my favorite of the Del Ray era authors...

I was wondering about the big gap in time between Troy's and Aaron's novels however. Is this due to Aaron's health or other factors, almost 7 months seems like a long gap, particularly given the fact these are not 350-450 page novels?

We have been promised that new sub-plots will be mixed in, so it very well could be.

In fact, that could be part of the reason why.

Sue's exact words:

Just a head's up here: We're moving around some pub dates, so stay tuned. Next week I'll be posting a blog reflecting the revised calendar. The major change is that we've moved some of the Fate of the Jedi novels, beginning next year, to give the authors a bit more time to write .... longer novels. We conjured up a few beefy subplots to add to the mix that are really going to increase action, tension, and characters and wanted to be sure each author has enough time to really develop and write the stories without a lot of rush.

I have to say this because I know Mr. Denning pops by here occasionally. I am about 40 pages from the end of Abyss and I have come to this conclusion: Mr. Denning is easily my favorite EU writer.

That is no disrespect to any of the other writers, because there are actually very few EU novels I have not liked, and not in a long time anyways.

But SBS is probably my favortie EU book, I thought Dark Nest was great, Invincible was gut wrenching. Abyss has been awesome, Mr. Denning really comes up with some interesting new ideas.

So there's my two cents worth of but kissing.

Dark Lord, the Lost Tribe e-books fill in a great deal of information bridging the gap between the Sith Lords we saw in the comics and the novels... keep reading, there's more to come.

JJM, that is awesome, thanks a lot. I(and many others here) have certainly been wondering how we got from virtually no sith, to the sith in the LOTF and then then Legacy comics. I can't wait to fill in the gaps.
