Elaine Cunningham has said about Tenel Ka in Blood Oath "since (Zekk) went missing in Hapan space, it's very likely that Tenel Ka will make an appearance. :)"

Sue has said "FATE OF THE JEDI 3 by Troy Denning. More hapans... er, happens. Sorry for the typo, it means nothing."

So I would think it is safe to say, that Tenel Ka and the Hapans are not going anywhere.

Definitely. With both Troy Denning AND Elaine Cunningham, I'd say there's a big chance to see Tenel Ka and the rest of the Hapans.

Your posts have been removed because continue to ask the same questions over and over again. As other members have explained to you on multiple occasions that is not how this thread works. When a VIP doesn't answer you question repost it once to make sure they simply didn't miss it and if they still don't answer (read carefully now cause this is the key) lay off. You continually ask the same questions about Ben Skywalker and the Unknown Regions. Sure you mix up the wording to make it look like a new question but its not. If you continue to post the same questions I will have no choice but to ban you for a period.

Yep Zinnos, as Tahiri says above, it's been indicated that Tenel's Hapan services will be required for quite sometime in the near future...just as the Hapans have been getting more play the last few series.

Besides, she is Allana's mother in the end game. ;)

Can't wait to see where Tahiri shows up in the next few novels as well.

And Sue, thanks for keeping everyone so well informed over here!

I'm sorry if I keep asking about Ben Skywalker and the Unknown Regions but can I at least ask Sue if there are plans to have non-Fate of the Jedi novels with the big three in the next possibly after FOTJ set in the classic trilogy or New Repubic era?

Will the main focus of FotJ still be on the ole' big three, or will it be moving more toward the younger generation?

It will continue to be a mix of characters. I imagine the younger characters will have more page time, but we'll see as the story progresses.

Was wondering if there was going to be the strict character focus in FOTJ, as In LOFT, Allston had Wedge, Traviss had Boba Fett, and Denning had Alema Rar. While it was nice that each author had thier own character that they could develop into what they wanted, it ultimately seemed that it detracted from the story in that each character rarely appeared in the other authors' work. This seemed to happen to also affect other main and minor characters, where the characters from one book to another did not feel the same or did not even appear. Is there going to be more communication between the authors in this series to avoid such issues this time around?

Hey Ben,
All the assigned books have been posted on my blog. The rest of them in the contract have not been assigned because we haven't figured them out yet or don't have authors, or whatever, but I do not know what will be in them or where they will be set. I know what you want -- but cannot tell you whether it's going to happen or not. Try to be patient and hang in here. As soon as I know something that is reasonably solid, I will post here, on my blog, or Pablo will announce on sw.com.

As far as "ignoring" some posts, yeah, it does appear that that happens. I do read them all, but if I've already answered the question in the near past [Will there be anthologies??? ;)] I tend to let it go. I suppose I could reply with "Ignored" or "Already answered" to each of these, but I don't have the time, and my computer is really slow in booting up the replies.

As always, stay tuned.

Well, to answer your last question first, if there had been any more communication among the authors of the LOTF series, none of us would have slept.

Additionally, I didn't see any issues with particular authors using particular characters more heavily than others. I thought it gave the series multiple viewpoints and made it seem even bigger than it was.

Authors have favorite characters -- characters that they're more in tune with, that excite and challenge them more, that they write well, and that sort of become their own.

Whether or not this will happen in this upcoming series to the extent that it happened in the last -- we'll just see. I don't anticipate it being quite as noticeable as in the last series, but certainly some characters will have a role in some of the books and maybe not as much in others. It ultimately depends on where the story takes people. It's not that we don't know the beginning and the end and a few high points in between, we do -- it's just how we get there that's left to the authors to develop.

It'll all be fine.

Oh, and the cover for WILD SPACE was approved late yesterday, so Pablo should have it posted soon.

Thanks as always.

Here is another question I am sure has been asked and answered but looking for it in the last 492 pages does not seem like the best way to find the answer. What happened to all the characters that have gone MIA over the years, Kirana Ti, Streen, Asyr Sei'lar, Raynar Thul, Danni Quee, Sannah, Calista, and so many more from the old Bantam days. Are there any plans to bring these characters back or are they mostly lost to the ages?

There a whole seperate thread about this,http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=20251&start=750, but thought I would ask.

No, it wasn't a myth, and the issue is still there with using the name "Sunrider." However, we can use it in the body of text where it can be argued that there would be no confusion -- we can't use her name in the title, and if we ever do an action figure, we'd have to drop "Sunrider."
So we just have to be careful.

So, just purely out of curiosity, does that mean you can't use 'Sunrider' on the cover at all (i.e. in the blurb)?

I don't think anyone knows what happened to them.
