BTW, while we're speaking of Indy and game tie ins... is Rob MacGregor still doing the book for the new Indy game? (Would that also count?)

I'm guessing any and all Indy books are yet another contract, being as it's a separate franchise.

Wait --- is Millennium Falcon part of the old contract? If so... did it replace something? I had thought the old contract was full before it was announced...

Yeah, the scraped Plagueis novel, if I'm remembering correctly.

Does this extend to the unconfirmed (unannounced) Rebel Force series from Scholastic, or can we expect some news soon?

I can't comment on anything that's not been officially announced on sw.com.

Hi Sue,

When can we expect a cover for FOTJ,1 roughly? If you can't answer that, do you guys at least have an idea of what will be on it?

Yes, Rob MacGregor's Indy game tie-in book is still in the works, and the Indy spin-off, Army of the Dead, is scheduled for June 2009. The Indy books are a separate contract, not part of the big SW deal.

It'll be awhile. Some of the Del Rey folks are coming out here tomorrow for a meeting to discuss cover direction and logo treatment for a number of books, including the remaining Clone Wars novels and the first few FOTJ books. We've approved cover concepts for Army of the Dead and Blood Oath -- I love Blood Oath as it features Zekk in a very manly pose, looking ruggedly handsome. He's certainly not the boy we once knew.

Oh, that's awesome. I always wanted a nice picture of Zekk.... since the existing ones aren't that great and Zekk is an awesome character that deserves a nice picture! Thanks for answering my question. :D

I thought Rule of Two replaced the Plageus book and Millenium Falcon was the first book in the new contract

Hey Sue I have a question- what date do you think the Clone Wars Wild Space front cover will be released?

Sue,

I was at a Terry Brooks reading a few weeks ago and he mentioned that Del Ray was going to be pulling many of the mass market paperback titles and replacing them to trade paperbacks (2-in-1, 3-in1, etc.). Is Del Ray planning something similar for the Star Wars books?

Thanks,

Brad

Ok Ben Skywalker 007. I have to agree with Jeff Ferguson about you stopping asking about Timothy Zahn's return.

On the first page of this thread it says: " If a question goes unanswered by the VIPs, assume that for whatever reason, they are unable or unwilling to answer it. DO NOT repeat it. Thanks."

Please follow this rule. There isn't one person on these boards who wouldn't like to see Zahn return, but until its announced please wait patiently like the rest of us. Please note that Sue answered the first part of your post, but not the second. She has nothing against you personally, just won't comment on unconfirmed products, as is LFL policy. Please abstain from further extraneous posts.

Sue is there plans for other novels to feature Luke,Han and Leia besides Fate of the Jedi and will there be a final Big Three adventure at the end of the contract in 2013 or will there be many adventures with the big three for years to come?
