So Sue...

Thanks to Blood Oath we'll find out how Zekk want AWOL...

And we've got some Jaden Korr....

But seriously... will anyone ever put us out of our misery and tell us who Kyp's lady friend of LOTF was... :_|

We need to know. And just why did he get a haircut in Invincible? Did he get dumped? Or is a haircut just a haircut?

If we asked pretty please, could someone enlighten us one day (one day soon!)?

Sue is there plans for a revised edition of The Essential Chronology with MF novel,FOTJ info to come out in the near future? Since the first edition came out in 2000 and the second in 2005 will there be a third revised edition in 2010?

P.S. Timothy Zahn has got to come back to write a hardcover for the fall of 2011(HTTE's 20th anniversary) perhaps a Ben Skywalker solo adventure. I also second my opinion on Zahn,Luceno and Stover to write a 9-book series together. Post-FOTJ???

I've read multiple sources saying that it takes place around the start of Fate of the Jedi, but you also mentioned on your blog that it takes place after his mishap during the battle in Invincible. Can you clarify whether we're talking about immediately after Invincible (prior to the two-year time skip of Millennium Falcon and Outcast), or closer to MF and FotJ (two years after the mishap)?

They way we have it right now is that Legacy of the Force ends in the middle of year 41 ABY.

BLOOD OATH follows a few months later, and

MILLENNIUM FALCON takes place at 43.44 ABY (these are tenths of a twelve-month year)

with FotJ starting at 43.5.

Sue, your saying that there is a untitled game novel also coming out next year thats different than the recently released contract?

There is an untitled game novel in the new, recently released contract, floating out there that hasn't been placed yet. I don't know when it will come out because it has to fit with LucasArt's plans. Mostly, we assign an "untitled game novel" to the contract and then see what develops.

Sue, is the MF book, and the Luke book part of the new contract?

No, they're part of the old contract.

Let say we have 9 books for Fate of the Jedi, 1 horror book, 1 Zekk book, 1 Boba Fett book, Korr book, KOTOR type book, Bane part 3 book, 2 Imperial Commando book. We have how many books announced out of the 35 fiction? How many books left to be given a title?

You'll have to do the math on this one - I'm kinda busy with other things......

nd the one big question is, is Dark Times (the period between ROTS and ANH) being left out of this contract becuase of the new live action tv series?

Yep.

Was there something unusual at all about how the TFU graphic novel and art/making book were bound, as opposed to other materials? I have heard repeated stories about fans (myself included), whose copy of the Art and Making of TFU book's cover has literally fallen entirely off and had to be taped or glued back on, and an almost equal number of reports (and, yes, my own experience again) of the TFU graphic novel's cover falling off or nearly falling off after one, two, or three total readings.

I don't personally know anything about the bindings on these, but I've forwarded your comment to the folks in charge and they're looking into it.

But some of them are awfully hard to source and/or extremely expensive

Angstor, I've heard this from a number of folks, but I really don't know what Scholastic's plans are.

I've just learned that the official announcement for the KOTOR MMORPG should be made by LucasArts within the next 30 days. Could this novel by a another KOTOR book tied to the game, like Star Wars Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine ?

Otherwise, I was wondering: which LOTF book begins the year 41 ? Thanks again Sue :)

Wait --- is Millennium Falcon part of the old contract? If so... did it replace something? I had thought the old contract was full before it was announced...

Look, benskywalker007... every single poster both here and at the Jedi Council Forums knows that you want Timothy Zahn to write a book about Ben Skywalker in the Unknown Regions. OK. We get it already. Stop asking for it. For one thing, you're misusing this thread, and for another, repeatedly asking Sue for it to happen isn't going to make it happen.

I can't for the life of me understand how you keep missing the fact that books will not be written based on the repeated begging of a single fan. Like Valin Kenobi said, we just got the announcement of 11 post-Legacy of the Force books.

And one of the major plot points of nine of those eleven books is Luke and Ben going on a solo adventure. This is very close to what you've been begging for for the last three years, and yet you keep begging, because it isn't good enough? Please, stop asking Sue for a Timothy Zahn book about Ben Skywalker in the Unknown Regions. Seriously. Never ask her for it again, because your repeated begging won't make it happen, and I for one am sick of it. I don't know what you think you're entitled to, but the fact that Fate of the Jedi has a plot point so close to your dream book should be enough to placate you.

Please, take what you are given.

I remember after the Plageuis novel was cancelled, Sue said don't worry we have James Luceno on something else or something to that effect...

You'll have to do the math on this one - I'm kinda busy with other things......

Counting the game novel, we have 19 down.

If the Indy and the Army of the Dead novel counts, then it's 20. (Does it count?)

BTW, while we're speaking of Indy and game tie ins... is Rob MacGregor still doing the book for the new Indy game? (Would that also count?)

but I really don't know what Scholastic's plans are

Does this extend to the unconfirmed (unannounced) Rebel Force series from Scholastic, or can we expect some news soon?
