I'd really like to see Gregory Keyes return, personally.

Troy Denning, James Luceno, and Drew Karpyshyn (sp?) would be my novel dream team. However, can the next 9 book series have the 3 authors writing their own trilogies. For example, instead of being TD, JL, DK, TD.... can it just be 3 TD novels followed by 3 JL novels and then 3 DK novels?

Fully agree. I've been suggesting that for some time now. Consider the motion seconded ad infinitum. So tired of the patchwork quilt feeling.

Sue, Pablo (or whoever is in charge of starwars.com), would it be possible, now that the webcomics which tie into the weekly episodes are announced, that an extra page is added which describes any new characters from the episode (so we would have a correct spelling of their names), and maybe even new vessels or so? Or that they appear in an episodic weekly database-entry?

I would like Stackpole, Denning, maybe Kevin J Anderson, and Allston, but Karypshyn would be good, but he has Mass Effect. I would love for it to be like a photo negative of the X WIng series where it may feature the Jedi rather than the military, but lets us get to know our characters better, who else knew that Tycho Chelchu was a supposed sleep agent for Isard? And we got great characters like Corran and Gavin. Give us a series that is a mix of Jedi Academy and X WIng, with the characters just mentioned in NJO and LotF. And who is the senior apprentice Derek who flew on the Falcon for the assult on the Anakin Solo?

I'm with you JMM, except I would replace denning with Zahn, though I do like denning.

Sue,

Are there any plans to go back and to some filler novels. Maybe get some clarity on what happened to Jacen on his 5 year sabbatical or get some insight into the jedi academy with the 5(I think 5 years) between DN and LOTF? Also, any chance of preventing the spoilers from leaking out? I think nearly every book of the LOTF series had spoilers at least a week in advance.

One last thing, is there any hope that we will see del ray and dark horse to some cross over work? Del ray has great characters and dark horse does to, but it limits credibility when they remain in only one genre of writing... thanks

A few years back (more than I care to admit), the TREK EU had a few books written by more than one author: DOOMSDAY WORLD by Micheal Jan Friedman, Peter David, Robert Greenberger. A few others, one in each of the series of TNG, CT, and DS9. And these books were EXCELLENT.

I've always found books written by partners or teams to be just a little bit more complete (for want of a better word. Has any though been given to having any upcoming SW novels set-up this way?

There have been a number of SW books written by duos --- both Medstar books, Death Star, Jedi Trial, and the entire Force Heretic trilogy. I'll admit I've never heard of a trio writing a book, though, save for William Shatner's SW books being "with" Judith and Garfield-Reeves Stevens. :p I don't know if that counts, though.

Can you give us any details on the author on Christine Golden

Details.... did you look her up on amazon.com or google her? That's always a good starting point. I met her some time ago and she's very enthusiastic about the unnamed project I can't talk about. She's a team player and a good communicator.

Oh, and those who want trilogies by the same author rather than a mixed series like we've done --- the problem is that it takes from 9 months to a year from the time an outline is approved to the time the book goes to publication, so if we had three authors doing trilogies back-to-back, you'd be looking at a 9-years series with one book a year (or maybe two books during the "change author" year). The reason that Michael Reaves' Coruscant Nights books are closer together is because he's been working on all three for a few years now.

We have quite a number of books planned for the near future, so I'm hoping that everyone's appetites will be somewhat appeased.... not entirely, probably, but somewhat....

Stay tuned.

When and if you guys have a time-placement for TCW, please let us know... (some of us are quite obsessed, I know... but we are all trying to re-arrange the current Clone Wars stories into some new order because of it...)
