Or for that matter are there any plans to release soundtracks [of any of the video games]
Nope.

I hope we hear not only the announcement of the new book contract but what the next series set after LOTF will be about. I hope that is our Christmas present from Sue and the VIP'S.
I hope so too, but the outlook is bleak.

Will we ever find out who Kyp's lady friend is? Or was it just something that was mentioned without an intent to further it?
Cannot predict now.
And if that is the case and we as readers never find out who the lady in question is, do you and your team know who it is?
My sources say no.

Of course, it could also be an autobiographical novel by Ms. Fisher about her experiences with Star Wars filming and/ or fandom.
Sue, any chance you could confirm or deny?
It's probably the autobiographical work -- it's not a SW novel. And Simon et al is not the new novel contract holder, btw.

Finally, once again, thanks for actually interacting with us lowly fans.
Lowly, you are not.

Can I just congratulate all at LFL for the marvel that is 'The Essential Guide to the Force'. Awesome! Exactly the Star Wars book I've always wanted.

Sue, Could you ask Santa for a new magic 8-ball for christmas? Your current one seems to be steeped with dark side energy, and leaving you with ambiguous answers.

You may rely on it!

Uh, some people on the Fury thread requested a link to a page describing Asperger's Syndrome, so I'm just putting it here, OK?

I was out most of last week with a bad cold. Doing better now, but since we're all going on holiday break after this week, I have lots to do....
Hi Sue,
Here's wishing you continue to recover from the monster cold! I know how bad those can be. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for the Legacy of the Force novels. Its been ebb and floe for me, with comparison to NJO, but I can't tell you of a better trio of writers to continue the story of the Star Wars family. They've done such a masterwork. I can't wait to see Ms Traviss' next work!
Happy and safe holidays to you and yours!

Regarding the EU art books...
I'll toss it out here and see what the discussion brings....
I gotta say, I'd buy them. 99% of the reason I bought the Essential Guide to the Force and the (latest) Chronology was the art. I still haven't read any of the actual text of the former... I remember buying WEG sourcebooks for the art, back in the day... Which was probably all sorts of dumb on my part considering the ratio of art to text, but still.
No doubt Star Wars as a whole being extremely visual makes EU fans on our textual little island rather starved for more art - which explains all the brouhaha over covers.
On the other hand, I remember as tween falling all over myself trying to get hold of Robin Wood's Pern portrait book (this was before the internet - out of print books were hard to find!) so maybe it's just me.

I just got stricken with one myself. Seems to be that time again. :-/
I'm glad you're doing better, though I wish you were getting a more leisurely recovery. At least you've got holiday break coming soon.
So forgive me if . . . I'm short-worded and not as wacky as usual.... . . . Yes, Jacen and Jaina. Jaina's the one in the back, with longer hair. . . . Could you ask Santa for a new magic 8-ball for christmas?
You may rely on it!
I don't think you need to worry about not being as wacky as usual. ;-p
