Sue, it's probably too early for this, but have you guys thought about the series titling for the Nomi book?
Is it chance of calling it Tales of the Jedi: XYZ or is that name completely owned by Dark Horse?
Or will it inevitably have the Knights of the Old Republic label since that's more well-known these days?
Or even Bane-style XYZ: A Novel of the Old Republic?

So, whatever happened to that Untitled SW Game Novel that was listed in the RH catalog some time back (but has since disappeared)?

Valin: Yes, it's too early for a title to the Nomi book, but I'm thinking it will follow the style of the Bane books, A Novel of the Old Republic.
We haven't started talking about it yet, though...

The game tie-in novels always get moved around a lot because we're never 100% sure when the game will come out. It'll be added back in once we have something concrete going on.

Thanks!
Is the plot going to have any input from Tom Veitch and KJA, or would that be up to Irvine whether he wants to consult them?
Was it pitched to Irvine as a KOTOR story, or just generally an ancient Republic story, or did he get to pick the plot altogether?
In case you haven't guessed from the questions, I'm really excited to see the old-school TOTJ saga resumed/continued so kudos on the choice....

I have a question about the time frame of Blood Oath:
I've read multiple sources saying that it takes place around the start of Fate of the Jedi, but you also mentioned on your blog that it takes place after his mishap during the battle in Invincible. Can you clarify whether we're talking about immediately after Invincible (prior to the two-year time skip of Millennium Falcon and Outcast), or closer to MF and FotJ (two years after the mishap)?

We rarely pitch a story to an author -- Mr. Irvine was intrigued by the era so we sent him the comics (and the Essential Chronology, etc) and suggested he look at Nomi, knowing folks had asked for a novel around her, and he came up with the story.

Jaina, I'll get back to you tomorrow on this one.... I've run out of time for today.
Note that I made an edit on the list on the blog--today we all decided that the title OMEN fits FoTJ #2 much better than ENIGMA, so we changed it. This probably won't be the first change in the line-up of all the books -- you'll get to witness the evolution as it happens.

Sue, is the MF book, and the Luke book part of the new contract?
Let say we have 9 books for Fate of the Jedi, 1 horror book, 1 Zekk book, 1 Boba Fett book, Korr book, KOTOR type book, Bane part 3 book, 2 Imperial Commando book. We have how many books announced out of the 35 fiction? How many books left to be given a title? And the one big question is, is Dark Times (the period between ROTS and ANH) being left out of this contract becuase of the new live action tv series?

So, I have to ask, because I've been hearing this from several others, and I have experience it myself . . .
Was there something unusual at all about how the TFU graphic novel and art/making book were bound, as opposed to other materials? I have heard repeated stories about fans (myself included), whose copy of the Art and Making of TFU book's cover has literally fallen entirely off and had to be taped or glued back on, and an almost equal number of reports (and, yes, my own experience again) of the TFU graphic novel's cover falling off or nearly falling off after one, two, or three total readings.
Is there any particular difference in how these two items were printed and bound, compared to other items?

Sue, do you have a time frame for when the Imperial Commando book will be out? I assume sometime next year. I'm already suffering from withdrawal!

I believe her blog post said next summer for Imperial Commando: 501st. I'm more interested in knowing if there will be a whole new cast, or if we'll get to read about the continuing antics of clan Skirata (hopefully the latter!).

Are there any plans to reprint the Jedi Apprentice and/or Jedi Quest series? These are, imo, great Star Wars tales, especially for younger fans - I've been making my way through them with my son, who loves them. But some of them are awfully hard to source and/or extremely expensive.
