Actually, the idea of a Spogebob Squarepants movie is about 1000 times worse than an Alvin and the Chipmunks Movie.

I actually like Alvin and the Chiipmunks for some reason or the other. But knowing how many of today's movies based on old serieses (read Thunderbirds) manage to totally butcher the series it was based on, I'm not that keen on having an Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.
As for Sponegebob getting his own movie...

This is just evil. I thought by now Seville would have made a billion bucks selling his singing chipmunks to some lab and retired. Now they want us to sit through two hours of listening to helium enhanced chipmunk songs, please....
