What do you think could be a great Episode 3 title. This is the first time I posted something about what is so called "rumour".
Let's see how long it will take George Lucas on making the next title

Even though it was coined by that knucklehead back in the early eighties, I really do like "Fall Of The Republic". It has a nice, grandiose ring to it. Though I imagine Lucas will go with something to reflect not only the Fall politically, but Anakin's Fall as well. Hmmm....

I really have no clue what the title would be. GL bases them on the story that is happening in each particular episode. We really only know one thing, so I'll have to go with something plain. "Shadow of Light"

Eh, a little corny. As for the title, expect it two years from next month.

All of GL's title sound like old serials:

Radioland Murders
Temple of Doom
Empire Strikes Back
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Attack of the Clones
The Phantom Menace
Return of the Jedi

I have this theory that any title should be built around the word "Shadow," one of the old serials.

Shadow of Doom
Return of the Shadow
The Shadow Menace
Attack of the Shadow
The Shadow Strikes Back

I rather like Fall of the Jedi since it parallels the Episode VI title, Return of the Jedi. Too predictable? Too obvious? Perhaps, but it makes sense to me and it would correctly explain what happens in Ep III both to Anakin AND the Jedi as a whole.

Did anyone else hear a rumor about a big Gladiator type Jedi training scene? Or was I just hearing things?

(I'm seeing a pattern, hmmm)
"Rise of the Empire"
"The Last Stand"

I kind of like the last two myself. "Rise of the Empire" is pretty self explanatory.

"The Last Stand" refers to how the Jedi will be hunted down and nearly wiped out. Ending with a cataclysmic battle between Obi-wan and Anakin that leaves Anakin critically wounded, where he becomes Darth Vader.

I like FALL OF THE JEDI, but I think it maybe to negative of a title. I don't think George would use something that we already know.
